Many of us have German coins. For me, if you include the various different iterations of "Germany", as well as the German States, it would be the fourth-biggest country in my collection after Australia, the USA and Britain.
I'm mainly focussing on a "one from each German State" collection at the moment; still got quite a way to go.

I have collected some Germans, but it's so huge range that I gave up and took a collection of some countries more realistic, I think even for a few lifes of collecting onecollector can collect small part of the great powers in the world of numismatics, good luck with collecting.

I have a bit of German coins. In total I have coins from 60 German States, in addition to Germany Empire, Weimar Republic, BRD, DDR and present-day Germany. Combined it would rank as my 4th country in value, behind Norway, Austria and Denmark, my 2nd country in number of types, after Norway, and my 4th country in number of coins after Norway, Sweden and Denmark. This is the German coin I am most proud of: ½ Thaler Regensburg 1791

I've got a bunch of the Nazi Silver Marks. I really don't want them anymore but don't want to sell them at melt. I also have a bunch of old German stamps.

The Empire era coins have always attracted my attention. I dunno why. But I've collected a fair number of them.

Yes, I also collect coins from "my" country, the Federal Republic of Germany. So I have lots of pieces issued between 1949/50 (the earliest dates) and today. With other pieces - be it German states, the German Empire/Deutsches Reich, the GDR, or Saarland for example - it depends: I have several but do not aim at being" complete" in those cases.

I have many 1903 & 1907 German states coins, & I usually share & exchange with friends. Mainly from Hamburg, like Wilhelm II coin & the one with Two lions 1907. Nice coins.

I do, I'm about to buy some nice WWII-era 50 reichspfennig coins from a friend of mine. Will post them when I purchase them.
