Inserting Images Already Uploaded

I am trying to insert images already uploaded to the forum. The problem I am having is that when I try to insert the second image or third from the already uploaded photos the new topic screen refreshes and the first image is gone. I can only get one photo to insert into the new topic screen at a time . I don't have this problem when uploading from my computer but only when the images are already uploaded. Hope this explains it well enough to understand. thanks for any help.
