I love to roll search. However I never keep any records. I just put my finds where they belong, dump the others and move on to the next box. However I did find 3 buffs, 1 silver, and a 1907 V nickel in my last box. I would definately join a roll searching sight though..

The site is coming along great. Taking some time though because my wife is the only one making the whole thing. It looks awesome so far and it is nearing completion.

Quote: Ya know, promoting roll searching will limit the finds overall. More people searching, less goodies. Oober, you *really* think so, with all the billions and billions and billions of coins out there? I for one would like to encourage more people to search rolls. I'm not greedy. Les

I for one would like to encourage more people to search rolls(just stay away from my bank). I'm not greedy.
Fixed it for you :)
I've gotten a few more people into roll searching...gives us all something to BS about.

Yeah I highly doubt promoting roll searching will take all the finds from us. there are just too many coins out there. and most of us are in different areas. I promote roll searching too.

There is this web site that is more oriented for bullion value, rather than numismatic value:
realcent.org

People can make their own profiles, and there is a separate section for each denomination. So if you click someones profile and go to "cents", it will have all of their statistics and finds for roll searching cents. If you click their "nickels" tab it will go to another similar page will all of the same information but for their nickel finds. You will have an about me section, a best roll finds section, a gallery for pictures. You can private message other people, and you can also have friend requests. There will be no forums because I don't want the site to take anything away from CCF. There will also be privacy setting for people who don't want information displayed.
I may be forgetting lots of stuff but that's the gist of it. My wife is making it so she knows more details about it.

Go for it! I'll join! I'd really like to see my stats. I know all the stuff I have found pretty much off the top of my head, what I don't know is how many rolls I've opened (although I'm sure my fingers know exactly how many!!)
I hope you go ahead and do this!
