I have never found one of these...does this person work at the mint?

Are these THAT common?
Or did someone have an Off Center fetish...

Any guesses on what this ends at?

Im taking a novice guess...umm....868 dollars...

Instead of making another thread about another ebay listing...this one is claiming a "Pot Hole" error on a Zincoln...I think its just pitted from corrosion...do these people have no honor?

They do look pretty cool. How they would acquire that many beats me!
Rest in Peace

Those appear to be mostly pre-83. Not unusual, off-centers tend to jam counting equipment, which also accounts for them being nearly new.

$500 would be way too much.

They usually go for around $2-3 each. Maybe a touch more for full dates, or some other damage or ddistortion, but that's really a niche collecting area.

Dirty Pennies. Oh my, wonder what they did ?
The clean ones mixed in must be uncomfortable
with the riff raff. Not a bad little collection.
Bet it goes for close to $200.00

I guessed really high then...lol...I see them regularly go from 8-15 bucks on ebay. I have never bought one..I probably will at some point and would pay 15 bucks for one that caught my eye....maybe my birthyear....

I bought one at an auction for $8. Got caught up in the bidding and didn't want to walk away empty handed. It's the only off-center coin I have, but I know I could have found one cheaper if I was patient. Oh well.

Sold for $338.00, not bad if they flick your switch. Not my cup of tea though.

The Pothole cent does not seem to be gathering any bids. If it sells for more than a $1 I'm going to quite my job and go into business selling PMD coins on ebay for a living.
