CIRCULATION COINAGE~~~~~~~~ Nickels 1858-1921 Dimes 1858-1968 Quarters 1870-1968 Halves 1870-1967
The amount of silver in the above tended to reduce as the coins came into the later 1900's { roughly around the 1940's or so}.

what your doing is boosting your post count, and the mods can lower your post count to compensate for that.

First, you should post your questions in the correct forum for the right answers. Asking about Canadian coins in the US forum might not get you the best answers. Second, admitting that you are posting just to reach B/S/T status just puts you on our radar. This community exists for conversation, not B/S/T (which is just a perk). We are watching you.

Quote: well I'm sorry I wont do that anymore I will just look everthing up If you stick around you will find this great forum is filled with experts willing to support anyone with any question. I provided an answer to your US silver nickel thread when it was obvious you did not take any time to do some basic learning on your own ... We will always support new members trying to learn ... However ... Quote: well sorry I gotta get 250 posts in so I can B/S/T so why not make a post That attitude is a complete turn-off to me. This is not a forum based on B/S/T and a rush to get there by making posts that imply you don't care to do some learning on your own will quickly lose our collective interest. As well stated by jbuck ... we are all watching. David

My point is that you should be asking questions for the answers, not to boost your post count. I should have said earlier that it was wrong for someone to direct you to Google. For what it is worth, Google would probably just bring you back here. That being said, I hope you stick around and keep asking questions. Before long, you will be the one giving the answers.

"Patience is a virtue",so they say.It didn't take me long at all to reach 250 posts.Even though I do a lot more reading and learning than a lot of posting. Hang in there!

To play devil's advocate, socceraustin23's question gets a whole lot more complicated once you bring NCLT into the picture. Error strikes (i.e., back door) exist also. Not many silver coins exist for 1969, but there are a few...

I didn't mention the 1858 Province of Canada 20 center, too limited {one year} to really count or even be seen. I do agree with other members about getting to 250 posts, there are so many forums to ask real questions in {even if they seem new collector ?'s}, or to give your opinion or information to, that you can get up there quick. I started with this forum {and I visit it daily for those subforums of my interest} around May of this year, I am at 125 or so posts already, and have learned a lot and helped out some during the journey. Do the same, you won't be sorry, and you will increase your knowledge, I certainly have. A side point, hopefully newer collectors will see this and get them to begin a library, Get a RedBook or any coin value guide from any coin magazine or paper. Get a Charlton's or Haxby's for Canadian coins/notes. If you like World, save up, get a Krause for those years you like, or ebay for a used all-in-one catalog. Mine is the 1988 edition, bought new, it still helps out for older world.
