In currency Currency ( Perth Mint) Determination 2007 (No. 1) http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2007L01553 and the accompanying explanatory statement there is mention of a Proclamation Series dated 2008. Did this ever get made? I cannot find any record of any of the coins on the Perth Mint site, ebay, Google...
Thanks in advance...

Sorry, slight clarification - It is the 1797 Cartwheel Penny Tribute that I am trying to locate... I already have a 1787 Proclamation Shilling Tribute Silver Proof...

First thought is that the RAM picked up this idea and did the subscription series.

Man this is really hard to find info on these coins, unsure if they did all of these coins but I added the links to pic of coin I could find. All you get from the RAM is that they issued silver subscription coin in the mintages pages. Or in the beginning of the newsletter a sentence about the coin, but no pics or prices "mint issue 67" says 2006 pillar dollar mintage closed at 9846. And "mint issue 69" says subscription coin, orders close for this year's subscription coin on 23 April 2007. Our customers will drive the mintage.
P.S they also did other coins not mentioned like the:
2004 Subscription Coin 1964 Australian Penny
2005 Subscription Coin 1855 Sydney Half Sovereign

Proclamation Series: One Johanna
2007: One Johanna-Gold Plated, 1ozSilver proof $1 coin

I think that the 2008: 1787 Proclamation Shilling Tribute Silver Proof 50c.
was probably the only 50c coin type made by the PM.

This Tribute Shilling was minted exclusively for release and sale at the 2008 ANDA Sydney and Melbourne coin shows.

Only 3,000 of these coins were minted

Thanks Australian Coin, I agree, I also think that even though the had the currency determination that allowed them to produce more in this series, they for some reason did not... Maybe Silver Kooraburra will see this thread and confirm or correct us both ;-)

I can confirm that The Perth Mint did not strike the Proclamation Coin program you're discussing, although a 1787 Proclamation Shilling Tribute was issued as a coin show special.

(Disclosure: I work for The Perth Mint.)
