First of all, I'm a bit curious if I'm the only dude on this site that doesn't own his own Coin Shop, or run his own e-bay Coin-world? ... sadly, I actually have another side of my life where I am forced to work for my coin-money (*sigh*) ... so then I was wondering what the rest of you people do for a living? ... are we all Pro Football Players and/or Lion Tamers, or what?

I'm a Mining Engineer (I go underground and blow-up stuff)

Sorry, but for some reason I couldn't open your thread (but thanks for the effort, Hambone) ...

Yah, I guess my job is okay ... not quite as "extreme" as it sounds, but yup, it has its moments.

14 year old, eh? ... ummm, I'll put you down as "Student"

Oh, thats right. When you get 50 posts you can apply to get access to the "General" forum. Thats where that thread is. Sorry about that
Yeah, I've learned a ton on this site. I'm almost 15 (August 10th), so yeah I think of myself as a "student" as well.

Oh, and for the original question, I'm a school student and when I'm not doing that I work on our farm driving tracktors and stuff

Yah well, I may be older than you, but apparently I don't even have access to the "General" forum (actually, I don't even know what the General forum is, but maybe someday?) ... man, I've learned something from you already!

Sounds like you already have the dream figured-out, Hambone => coins & tractors => flawless

I'm actually into my second career, my first was 26 years of floor coverings mostly large commercial but I would do high end custom homes also, Custom hardwood and ceramic tile, with the odd counter top and VCT tile job thrown in, My second career mill maintenance supervisor I have been 10 years at this career so far. I keep one of the few remaining lumber mills operating.

I am disabled because of a back injury that resulted from 4 different back surgeries so far in the past 11 years and its still not "fixed" and I suffer daily. When I did work I had a couple things I did. The main job I had was I worked for FedEx Freight, and I also was a commercial artist for a family owned business (wasn't my business)

When you look at the bar on the left side under ebay coin shopping and active users there is a "Stuff for members" section. You can click on the "Gerneral Discussion" link and then apply to get access to that forum. When you get all set up, the general forum is under the precious metals forum.

Hope this helps

Thanks Hambone ... but you're correct => I need 50 posts before I'm allowed to access the General Forum (if I ever get there, I'll check-out your thread) ...

kinda odd? => I guess stating your occupation is a bit too personal? (so far 127 people have visited this site, but there have only been 10 responses) ... I guess it's kind of hit and miss whether a site is gonna be a winner, or a dog, eh? ... woof!

I started to reply but my hometown name is in my profile for anyone to see and it's a fairly small town so if I give my occupation it would be fairly simple for someone to find me and follow me home. I know it's far fetched but I must protect my family from crooks. I am reading the thread though.

that probably didn't help, I stopped reading your post after "i cant seem how to remember to delete the second post"

you cant delete your reply after 24 hours, so what you need to do now is either send a note to staff on your post, or email a moderator and ask him/her to delete it for you.

Thanks Adam. I think my problem was I went to edit then looked for a delete icon rather than looking for it above the post. The gigantic arrow would have helped though. I would delete it now but then it would make your post look out of place so I'll just leave it.
