Still haven't been able to get into paper money (other than cool SN's) and my pops gave this to me.

Any value? He said he paid $60 for it years ago.

I think it's kind of cool too. He bought it because we're born and raise here in Baltimore. I want to buy it from him, but I don't know what a fair offer would be.

You could check Heritage to see if they have sold anything similar.

What would I need to check for? Year, SN, grade (which I can't even attempt to grade paper) anything else?
Rest in Peace

The 5th edition of the Kelly book on National Bank Notes list this note at $300. This an interesting bank. The First National Bank is the 5th title of this bank.

Is Kelly book anything like RedBook? Meaning it's probably actually worth about $150?

I did search ebay and there were no $50 Baltimore notes. I'm going to be keeping an eye out though.

So by seeing those auctions anywhere from $150 to $200 would be a good price for this?
Rest in Peace

The Kelly book is not like the RedBook and is fairly accurate. The Heritage prices hold close to the Kelly price except for the note sold way back in 2004. Nationals have increased in price since 2004.
