Don't know why the seller wouldn't have taken the coin out of the holder for the picture since the mylar's torn anyway. I don't know very much about tokens, so I can't give any opinion on the value. The thing that I found kinda funny was, the starting bid is $5.00, yet the 2x2 has a price of .50 cents on it !!! Now that is a mark up. Report this Post to the Staff

There have been a lot of tokens distributed over the years from merchants or individual organizations that could be used for a monetary value at different events. At one time, I had a token that stated it was worth $1. I wish I could remember the exact details of it. But I remember that it commemorated the Peace Bridge (Buffalo NY to Niagara Falls?). The monetary value was only for the fair or the celebrations that were held. Report this Post to the Staff
