Not hugely familiar with 3 cent nickels, but I bought this one to fill a hole in my 7070; couldn't pass it when I say the clash on the reverse. Looks way cool!

Whats the grade? MS-63/4?
It truly is a great looking postage stamp coin.

Die clashes are very common in this series. Yours is a super example with a nice outline, especially on the reverse.

It is a ms 64. It could become one of my favorites. There is a good article on them in the August 2, 2011, issue of Numismatic News.

Another article you may want to seek out is the June special edition of Coin World. It is the cover story of that magazine and also deals with Three Cent Silver pieces. The author is a friend and customer of mine, as well as a member of this forum (Prethen).

these things are plagued with clashes, it is actually harder to find an example of one that isn't clashed than to find one that is heavily clashed. If you look at the 7070 topic where everyone is posting pictures of their coins you will see what I mean, I don't think one example on here doesn't have clashing

Man, nice clash! I've never seen one where the outline of the face was so clear.
