Tough without pictures, but I'll throw out the following as I just happened to be checking prices over the weekend on a couple of these:
1853 $1 - maybe $40-$50 above melt if not harshly cleaned, or in the $120-$130 range 1854 $3 Princess - $550-$650 if genuine
These would be buy-side good prices to me for pieces retaining good eye appeal. The $3 Princess price could be especially variable depending on condition though. I haven't checked T1 or T2 $1 lately. A pleasing Type 2 with a strong date is a really cool coin, IMO.

bullion, if the cleaning is bad enough.

Well, if you're selling, I'll take the $3 Princess for biggfredd's $234 price. I think I've only seen one or two go for under $400 on ebay in the last couple years and they were G-VG with environmental damage.

The gold dollars, depending on details and how badly cleaned, around $120-30. The Type 2 is a really cool coin IMO, I have a VF30 one with a nice date. If you pick them up, make sure to post pictures.

the 3 dollar piece is not cleaned or he didnt say it was. thanks for you guys help. I would have thought the 1863 would be more of a head turner with a mintage of just over 6000 pieces

Be careful with the 1854 $3, Lebanon made a bunch of copies back in the 60's I believe that are the exact same weight and diameter. They are gold just not a genuine 1854 $3. My grandfather still has his copy that he thought was genuine until he found out from his friend (who is a coin dealer) years ago that it was a fake. Just my caveat.

Nice! Good start to a gold type set there. Nothing immediately strikes me as being off on the $3 Princess, but I'm no expert, just love the design. Prices come in about what you thought? Anyway, thanks for sharing.

The 1854 dollar looks to be repaired on the reverse. But let me put on my shade. Nice!

The 1854 $1 looks ex-jewelry to me, but it's still a Type 2 and a nice pick-up depending on price.
