Hey guys, lately I've been looking at early large cents to start my set. Delaner has been a great help to me, he's very knowledgable in that area. This one will reside in my 7070 until time to get upgraded, but here it is:

The pics pretty accurately show the color of it, but in hand there is a lot more detail on the reverse.

So whadda ya think?

Very cool. I love old copper - especially pre-1800. Always makes me wonder where the coin has been when it's that old and that worn. YOu know there is a ton of history behind it. Congrats on the new piece!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that its part of my birthday present The other part is a 1990 reprint of Penny Whimsy. Should learn a bunch when that gets here.

I like how even with that much wear the date is still clearly visible.
