Just like everyone, I also thought that this may have been conservatively graded when I bought it.

This could be an O-142, but the diagnostic for the 7 is not there for O-106. There are so many that are close in diagnostics, I'd need to have the coin in-hand to properly attribute this one. Sorry I couldn't help.

On the British grading system, there is too much wear on the high points to make AU.

This coin would make 'nearly EF'; the '45' seems OK to me.
