If you buy the coin or not is your decision,, what has been posted is opinion based on some very poor quality photo's of the coin (which in my opinion should not be the case for a high grade coin dealer) But the pics show an aweful lot of black around the devices and down inside the smaller areas of the detail (most notably the hair,Date and lettering) with practically spotless fields both obverse and reverse show the same affect.

once again why would the seller not slab this coin ?

Bryan believes that the seller is good based on the return policy,,and personal experiance buying from him.

I do not have that experiance since I have never bought from him.

I believe the coin has been cleaned based on the explaination above, so the decision to buy or not is for you to make.

Rick

I agree with you Rick. Once I saw the adjusted photos. I asked the seller and they emailed back no way for more photos. Something about the coins being in a vault somewhere and they won't get to them until next week. I have decided to wait on a better quality coin like this with no stuff around the stars and lettering....I guess you would call that area the devices. I am learning everyday about coins with the help of places like this. I am also getting alot pickier than when I first started about 6 months ago seriously.

Thanks again for everyone's time.......I truely appreciate it!
