Yeah, I enjoy when some of the other posters upload there coins from the TPG's, so we can see where are grading skills are at. If I posted this in the wrong section, I apologize. I will post the grades tomorrow....dom

Nice bunch. The only one amongst them which doesn't have a realistic shot at 65 is, I think, the 1891-CC which looks like a strong 63. I'm going to guess the '34-D made 65 (which would be quite the coup) and the rest sit at 64.

No biggie.
I think they beat you about the head with these grades, although the pics aren't clear enough for absolute decisions. Only the Morgan and the '35-S are believable to me - what I though might be luster breaks on the '35 was actual wear. The rest are well short of what I though they deserved.

My photographic skills are not good. However I had an idea what the grades were going to be. I was at the summer FUN show in Orlando and Randy Campbell from IGC whom I believe specializes in Peace dollars gave me an idea what they would be. That being said I still find it extremely difficult to grade Peace dollars. I also find that ICG is very conservative by at least one grade compared ANACS, NGC and even PCGS.

Spoke with Randy for about 20 minutes and showed him my Dansco Barber half book. Explained I was trying to upgrade several more coins to make the book at least VF to XF. He pointed out one that could be MS-63 or MS-64. He said that when I was done he would grade the entire book for me.

I have found myself having almost everything I deem gradeable, grade by ICG. It is also advantageous that I live in the tampa bay area and that is where ICG is based. I see Randy Campbell and Skip Fazzari at almost all the local shows. The one thing about them is that they are so approachable. I think that because they are a much smaller TPG thay are very consistent with their grading and they will tell you why they grade what they think. Don't get me wrong I have also found the staff at ANACS very friendly and approachable as well but the are in Colorado.I have found that another TOP TPG is somewhat standoff-ish when you try to speak to them. The other advantage with ICG is that I can bring the coins to their office in person or you can also pick up the coins when they are ready and save a few bucks in shipping.

The show pricing was great. They charged $9/coin at the economy level which has always been around 3 weeks. At one time they had a special, any silver dollar under $500 was a 2 day special for $12, but they stopped that one for the time being. You can check their website: https://www.icgcoin.com
