Hello!
My father in law found this coin and we don“t know what it is. One man translated me the text of the coin:
Sultan of countries and captain of two seas, son of Sultan
Overleaf: Mustafa Sultan bin Muhammad bin Baza. Long live the kingdom in Adrina.
How old is this coin? What could be fair price?
Thank you very much!

The coin is dated, at the bottom of the top pic, to the year 1106 Islamic calendar - that would be 1695 AD, the year in which Ottoman sultan Mustafa II came to power. The name of the city your friend has translated "Adrina" is in modern Turkish known as Edirne, near the Greek and Bulgarian borders; it was a prominent mint-city of the ottoman Empire during this period.

The coin's denomination will depend on the size; I'm sorry but I don't know how large your hands are, so I can't tell from the pics. I can give some examples dfrom zeno.ru to compare with yours: Here is a zolota, or 30 para; there are translation notes in the comments there. Here is a kurush (40 para), and Here is a half-kurush.

Hello Sap!
Thank You for Your answer! The coin has a diameter of 40 mm +/-. Is this a zolota (30para)?
Is this coin rare or common?
Father in-law found this coin with metal detector in the Sudetenland in the Czech Republic - my country.

Hello again. Sorry for the delay - the start of the month is always a busy time for me, and I'm easily distracted.

Looking it up in the Krause world coin catalogue, the best fit is the kurush (40 para). The catalogue reference number for an Edirne mint kurush is KM# 121.1. There are four mints this coin was struck from; Edirne is the second-most-common. My catalogue is old, so the best I can do about the price is a guess: about $50 in this condition.
