Hey all....

I was just killing some time looking at some coins on ebay and came across this. [eBayItem]120708341119[/eBayItem] is a 1945-2005 victory token. Is this a ridiculous asking price or did I get a really good deal when I purchased mine for under 10 bucks including shipping?

What the composition of the coin? I don't see it listed in the description.

The $14 shipping is a bit high too.

The token is made of bronze and is about the size of a silver dollar. I also just saw that this seller is asking 170 dollars for the 1908-1998 silver one cent coin from the 90th anniversary coin set. Leads me to believe they are fishing for suckers.

Oops, your right Dialog. I didn't notice the specs on the nickle I was paying more attention to the Medallion. Thanks ( I'm glad I picked one up). Either way I guess my point was that $13.99 is a far cry from $124.00.

For sure.

And at 5.35 g for the 5c, there is 0.158 ozt silver, or over $6 worth. So, over 40% of the price is given back to you in silver.

If silver ever hits some of the crazy predictions, things like this are going to get a lot harder to find.
