RollSeeker Valued Member United States 366 Posts	Posted 08/04/2011 9:55 pm Closer pics would be necessary to be sure, but at least the 1 o'clock mark appears to be a die crack. Usually die cracks do not really affect the value of a coin, and 3 cent nickels (pretty much any US coin made of nickel) often have die cracks due to the hardness of the metal.
