Not in a holder, but take your best shot at it.

I don't have much experience grading Barber coinage.

I am gonna go with AU Details.

In my opinion it looks like it was cleaned at one point, and re-toned.

Checked the coin again in hand, and although it may have been cleaned, I think it still has original luster (but will inspect the matter further). I'm not too familiar with barbers either, so if someone could point out the high points for wear on these coins, I would appreciate it.

I think I see hairlines on the neck, most likely from a cleaning. Still a good-looking coin.

It does appear at first glance to have been cleaned at sometime in its history. The usual wear points are the rails above and below "Liberty" on the obverse and
the Cob of Corn on the back still shows all of its details.

I would say if this coin wasn't cleaned(not saying that it is, I just am not certain) it would grade high AU.

I would even go out on a limb and say AU-58. There are some scratches on the obverse that leads me to believe that it was in circulation for a short time (Check Chin and above Lip).

Beautiful, absolutely beautiful example of a Barber dime.

Do you mind if I ask where and how you came to get it? I am always on the hunt for Barber Halfs for my collection and if you have a source I do not know about, I am hoping
you share....
Rest in Peace

It looks to have been wiped on the obverse, but not too bad. Based on the lack of dimming on the corn kernels, this might be an uncirculated coin but with 'rub' from the wiping.

AU details, cleaned. May have been MS prior to the cleaning.
