If it's raised it's probably just a die chip.

Not sure exactly what it is - but it is definitely not a die chip. Die chips have very sharp edges - this is soft.

Again it's the pointy shape and proximity to center that has me wondering. I'm shooting this one again tonight. Try to get a better shot. Maybe back off the magnification.

Note: #2 and #3 are not the same cent.
