As a long time coin collector, I have visited local coin shows and enjoyed them.

Now that I am looking to become a coin dealer as well, I was wondering what advice you dealers might have with respect to local (community/city/rergional) coin shows.

Are there shows good for selling items? Any tricks or tips for attending a coin show as a dealer?

Keep in mind that a dealer needs to buy a reasonable price such as below those posted on "greysheet" in order to sell at a profit. Attend local coin clubs too.

Not an easy answer. Good shows for selling items depends on so many things that it is impossible to really know what is going to happen. Also, where the show is held also makes a difference. In really small shows usually, but not always, only low valued coins are being sold. At really large shows usually, and again not always, much higher values of coins are being sold. At the really large shows almost all coins have a chance of being in the market.
