I get alot of old dollars,halves,quarters,and dimes due to working in the precious metals business and I enjoy looking at them. I came by this Peace dollar. Around the face of the obverse, LIBERTY and date do not seem to be struck comepletely. Also "IN" and the "ST" in trust lightly stamped. The reverse is not as bad. Question is worn,error,or VAM?

It looks like it was struck through oil or grease.
