long story short, I've worked at a bank as a teller manager for the past four years. every week about 500k passed through my hands, always on the look out for a star note or something old / collectible.

last day with the company was today, loaded up the ATM, packed up my box, and on my way out of the parking lot I pulled out $300 for my two week golf / lunch allowance, two of the three $100 bills are 1974 star notes. (my atm dispenses all kinds of different denominations)

one's in flat out terrible shape, creases all over it and just plain dingy. at least it's worth 100 bucks, the other one is in relatively good shape, no creases or anything.

anyone have a clue what they might be worth? can't find much on ebay, I figure around 120 though for the better shape one- if I can find a buyer. just a guess though.

edit to add:

looked through the search function and found this link, but it doesn't go back quite as far.

to CCF.About $175 in extra fine condition, but my magazine is a little old, just wanted to give you an idea of possible value. Any coin shops near you?,you could stop in and see if they want it.

Cool find! Notes before the 1990's are already hard to find in circulation and the fact that is a star note as well makes it even better.
