Having this coin in my collection in Moscow, I'm interested to find out it's today's value in North America. Grade in my opinion is probably VG, but I'm not a specialist.
Will be thankful for any opinion.

Judging by the rim ding above the of I would suggest some one was going to drill a hole...

It's not quite VG 8 in my opinion. I would call it G6 corroded and cleaned. It looks like a metal detecting find that has been cleaned up and re-toned.

Value for a problem free G5 is around $13 I suspect this would fetch in the region of $5-8 on ebay.

Thank you. Very interesting. In this case will be glad to purchase a dozen in similar condition for above mentioned price. I thought prices in Russia would be lower for such coins, but it seems to me now I was wrong.

There should be plenty in this condition of just about any date you may want on ebay, just be sure they will send to your country. The shipping fees may make ebay an option that wouldn't be worth it

nohope is the resident expert on 2ΒΆ coins and he has probably bought 1/4th the total population that has ever been minted of this series (this is a joke) so if he tells you something about a 2ΒΆ coin he usually says it from the heart and it can be taken to the bank

Stick around this forum for a while and you might be getting into purchasing coins right here. Then no problems with ebay.

I know I need 50 posts to start buying here. I better stick around for a while as e-bay is not for me.
I don't want my coins to be stolen by post or have troubles with customs.
My classmate resides in Toronto and I can always ask him to buy for me. Hopefully I will be on business trip in Canada in November this year!
