Found this Wheat penny today. It definitely has a Cud error on Abe's chin but could anyone tell me about the marks on outside? PMD or something else?

Edges appear to ge post mint damaged. I really do like that addtional beard on Lincoln though. Might be worth something as a novelty.

its not a Cud, its a die break, Cuds start from the rim of the coin.

and what you are seeing on the rim is PMD, as Carl said.

and the value of the coin really isn't beyond " Wheat cent value"/ novelty
