This evening while away on business in Paducah, KY I went to the local Wally-World for some things. I checked out at a Self Checkout and when I got my change from the dispenser, I got a 1940-S Wheat penny. It is getting harder to get a wheatie nowadays. I thought it might be a good thread to start; have you ever gotten a numismatic surprise in your change from Wal-mart?

Not in my change, but asking for halves at the small bank inside, they had one. A 1970-D. Normally I don't shop at a store that supports communism.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors... Roll hunting since '77 Dirt fishing since '72

Flash!!
My daughter just gave me a handful of change for a $10 bill. Mixed in was a 1944-S Jefferson.
Should I give her more than $10. heck no I'm paying for college!!

Haven't found anything in my change recently, but my favorite coin so far is my 1906 Indian penny. Found it in my cash drawer at work. ^_^
