First the photo doesn't do this justice. I was trying to shoot the photo through the plastic cover. In any event not a penny guy should I keep this one or just toss it into the stock pile of copper pennies.

It's hard to tell the true condition of the coin without a better photo. Can you remove it from the holder and try again?

As to whether you should keep it or not is really up to you. I myself enjoy these old coins, and to me it certainly does have more value than just it's copper content.

If you are not into Lincoln's, don't keep it.

It does appear to be a good specimen.

I would for sure keep it; I hardly find any wheats at all.

If you don't want it you could gladly send it to me

Put back into circulation so someone will run around showing off how they found this really old coin in change.

Personally I keep all wheat cents regardless of condition, so I would say you should keep it. wheats are getting harder and harder to find so you might as well keep them when you can.

It's worth keeping but not worth much, pop it in a coin book and save it. It looks to be in real good shape.

I am always happy to find any 30's wheats, they are not easy to find in circulation.

Nice find!

I am happy to find any wheat in circulation.

I know they are not worth a lot, but they are becoming less common as time goes.

Keep it, unless you're really short of spending-money.

I'd keep it. I don't think I have any wheats from the 30s. I've got almost every year from about 41 or 42 but I'm not sure I've got older than that in wheats.
