My second post, and looking for some more input from people who have more knowledge on coins than myself. I am still at a point where I am learning the correct terms for things in regards to coin varieties and errors. The photo below is of a 1961 P LMC I found coin roll hunting. I noticed that there seems to be "doubling" on the numbers? What am I looking at? Thanks for the help folks!

Just like you, I am an amateur and continues to learn from the experts of CCF. As to the doubling that you have seen in the date, it's an MD. The doubling is flat.

Thanks for the replies! I was thinking that's what I was looking at, but am still a rookie and learning more on a daily basis. I think I'm going to learn a great deal from the people here. Cheers
