he's trying to profit only $4.50 and he says or best offer. These coins are worthless.

I think he'd get a better offer from the coin counter?

oh, it was $895.50 face value of bicentennial halves and quarters. most were the quarters. He was asking $900 or best offer for it.

I probably would of taken them. There's a little premium on ebay.

i haven't look at the premium on ebay, but the ebay 9% fee on $900 would be a fee of $81. add the paypal fees and shipping costs and you are down almost $100. So to break even you'd have to sell them on ebay for $1000.

I did comment in that bicentennial thread that I hold on to them for a while before spending them. Yeah, that is what you were thinking, that I would like to hold on to these for a while. Just for fun. Works for me.
