Hello,

I have always wanted to compile a 'current/up-to-date' and comprehensive list of all past and recent counterfeit slab examples for all TPG (third party grading companies).

I know that once a counterfeiter realizes that the general public has caught on to the imperfections of a particular fake slab such as the following NGC slab:

Requesting-All-Known-Counterfeit-Slab-Examples

and

Requesting-All-Known-Counterfeit-Slab-Examples

a new and more innovative fake will inevitably be produced.

For this reason I am requesting that all interested parties submit their detailed photos from any TPG displaying a verified counterfeit slab.

Please ensure that the related verbiage adequately describes in sufficient detail the characteristics of the counterfeit feature similar to the attached NGC example etc.

Thanks,
mdpmedia

That fake was from mid 2007 and I'd be very surprised if it was produced after NGC finally published that information in early 2008. I know there has has been a second improved generation of PCGS fake slab. The first generation of PCGS fake can be found imitating two different generations of PCGS slabs, one of which does not exist as a genuine slab, and also some fake "Genuine" slabs. I only know of one generation of fake ANACS slab. One problem is that I have not been able to get my hands on the latest generations of the fake slabs so I can't tell exactly how they differ from the earlier fakes.
