That makes it hard for ebay sellers to sell to me. Further information about weight, close edge examination and diameter certainly need to be considered. If everything is right, it would be a pleasing to coin to have in any ancients collection. Report this Post to the Staff
Bing Pillar of the Community United States 4253 Posts	Posted 08/12/2011 11:04 pm Initially, I thought that this coin looked fine until I copied the pics and looked at them under extreme magnification. I am no expert, and I hope others will chime in, but this coin looks cast to me. There is a similar coin on Forum's fake coin reports, but its not an exact match. And when I tried to look on Forgery Network, for some reason the site wasn't working. If you can provide the essentials about the coin, weight, size, and a picture of the edge, it would be most helpful. I will check with others I know and see what they think, but as of now and without holding the coin, I would not buy it. I've gotten suspicious in my old age. Report this Post to the Staff
