Need info on a 1847 large cent on small sized copper planchet. Weight is 6.9 grams. Should be over 10 grams. Coin is also Thinner than normal large cent. It is VG-F. fairly well struck, appears real, and is not ground down. A bit smaller in diameter than a quarter dollar. Anyone know of foreign coins near this composition or weight in this year? Unable to find any Internet info., or leads as to pop. value, or how manafactured. Ideas? Comments? Thanx ...Gusp
