The date on the coin is Buddhist Era year 2493, which equates to 1950 AD. The coin is listed in the Krause world coin catalogue as number KM/Y# 73.

WCG page for this coin. However, these coins were struck from 1954 right up to 1973, all bearing the same "2493" date. There's no way to tell what year within that time period your coin was actually struck in, so in that sense you are correct in that it doesn't have a date.
