Some of the Australian Coins found in the bucket, together with thousands of various coins of various countries. Most of the coins were worm out and probably fit for recycling Bucket in the olden days is the most convenient to store coins, not ideal method to keep coins nevertheless, but with the large mouth (opening), can easily hit the target from a distance.

the Crown and the 1927 florin are highly soufht-after in Australia.
The Crown was a two-year-type: 1937 & 1938.
The Parliament House florin was Australia's for commemorative coin.

Hi Nancyc, during my primary schooldays, I used to play with my daddy bucket, tossed and checked for any unsual coins. Interest died off as I grow up and pursuit other hobbies.

I am trying to sort out all the coins and stored them in albums, to preserve those good condition coins.
