FlipOfACoin Valued Member 474 Posts	Posted 08/13/2011 10:59 pm Hello All , I bought a small lot of 522 mixed silver dimes on ebay. I went through them quickly, just to pull out Roosevelt 49-S's. There were several Mercs mixed in and this was one of them. I am no expert, even by the most stretched sense of the word . Perhaps you all, in your omniscient wisdom, can tell me more about what this is and how it may have gotten in this condition! THX to all! Report this Post to the Staff

I will still keep it as an example of a 'fake' or attempted 'counterfeit.' @bmanfnbc: That is what I was thinking... the 1 looked really tall. @aladinslamp: what do you mean the coin is not the same? I took all of the pictures myself, from different angels, and I assure you, they are the same coin... I would have no reason to try to fool anyone.
