Just received my newest addition from Provident Metals. I got 10 more of the very nice SilverTowne 5-oz. bars. These are becoming my favorites, although I still really like the ASEs too. I ordered these on 8/4 because the Provident web site said that they were in stock and I was interested in getting more of these. Unfortunately, they were not in stock and had to be ordered from SilverTowne... which I could have done myself. Anyway, Provident was nice about it. They admitted that they had a computer database error that showed more of these bars in stock than they actually had. Because of all this, I did not receive the bars until 8/22. Part of this was due to the fact that I used a personal check that added a week or so to the delivery time. Because of the delay in shipping these out, Provident included a very nice Indian Head 1/4 oz. round at no charge. They did not have to do that but did it anyway. I thought that was rather nice of them. Here is a pic... Sorry about the round looking so washed out. I tried to get the best combo of lighting on the bars and the round but because of the matte finish of the round and the mirror finish of the bars, I just could not make them both look like they should. Here's a couple of better pics of just the round itself: With these additions, my silver collection is now at 208 1/4 troy ounces. This is not yet where I want it to be but it isn't all that bad either.

This is not my most expensive PM but, it has an interesting story. . Working in an underground mine west of Boulder Co. and drilling core samples. The owner said if we did a 100' core on our shift we would earn a bonus. This was the bonus. This was back in the early 1990's. when silver was? Interesting mine to say the least.

That is a very nice bar and quite a bonus. I'm sure that it was not worth a whole bunch back when you 1st got it but it seems to have worked out pretty well. Engelhard & JM products seem to command a nice premium over other gold and silver products, so this should be worth $450 or a bit more these days.

Nice addition to any silver collection. I really like these 5 oz. SilverTowne bars. Like you, I ordered more of these during the most recent price pull-back. They should be here in a week or so.

VERY nice addition, ICanCU... gorgeous coin for sure. I have read a number of articles wherein the authors claim that the MS63 grade gold coins have about the best bang for the buck out there. Well done!

Wow everybodys collection looks great. All I got is a few Barber halves, a few Washington quarters and a silver dollar at this point. I was just getting ready to rebuild going into 2012 and I broke my arm. Out of work for 8-10 weeks now. DOH!
