I was at my coin shop today to pick up some circulated rosevelt dimes for my set. Picked up 6 $15 Cash. then I saw these in the case. asked how much and he said well aahhh how about $28? I said OK, Sold. So I got these two proofs in the capsules in a case for a few bucks over spot.

Just went to my cities monthly coin show and picked these up!

I got all 8 of the engelhard bars for $1.50 over spot. The 1/10 krand ran me 185$.

Both seemed to be excellent prices!

The bars are a little warn and tarnished, but otherwise in great condition. Some of the styles seemed to be selling on APMEX for $40+

I feel like I did pretty well today! Now I just need to see if gold/silver drops, as it always seems to do when I buy anything. lol

You did well on the Engelhard bars. There is always a premium on them and JM bars.

Here is a stock photo but I have a 78 in the safe, too lazy to get it out and photo it...

Krands b4 1974 are the tough ones, they were illegal in the US.

Yeah, the bars are going crazy. But not so much about the rounds made by JM or Englehard. Can somebody shed light on the matter?

Bars were popular b4 1980, rounds are plentiful.
