That it the nicest SBA I have everseen. Maybe if they minted them all in proofs people would have actually been willing to use them. The problem with resending, is what if they knock it down to a 67 or something then you will really be mad.

Is there a tiny thin line between the E and the R? Or is that on the case? I only see it in the last photo.
BTW, you have taken great photos.

Buddy You have one heck of an eye!! I believe it to be on the slab. Will have to double check. That was good.

Monkeyman I'm going to send the whole slab in. For a reevaluation. I don't believe they can drop it lower then the grade they already graded it at. If I did a crack out, then anything goes. But an explanation should be given why its a 69. I don't know why they don't include this.

I dont see why was not slabed as proof 70 but as the other member said it ll be worse if they drop to a lower grade ! Your best bet would be take it off the slab and resend but only if you are confident that it could make 70 be ause I dont think they ll grade higher if they see in the slab 69 . Just think ... They would have to admit their mistake in 1st place to grade it higher ! Another TPG may grade it higher after open the slab but the same company my advice is just keep the way it is . You have the most beautiful SBA I have seen !( my opinion!)

Thanks Ricard. I'm going to try the full slab first. I'm not worried about them downgrading it any. Sure they could but it would be one heck of a mistake. Maybe they will see it for what it is. A chance to take a closer look, and see theirs no reason why it shouldn't of came back a 70. This way the population doesn't get inflated by one more, and they can own up to making a mistake.(Fat Chance lol)I bet if I went with a well know dealer instead of submitting myself, I wouldn't be having this issue.

I guess you might as well go for it then. Nothing to lose if you send it back in the case, though I have never sent anything to be slabbed. Good luck, I hope it comes out favorably for you. Keep us posted. I have to say again how nice that coin is.

I think they will be extremely hesitant to put it at a 70, therefore decreasing your chances... But on the other hand, I have never seen one so close... Beautiful coin...
