Sorry about the angle but that is the only way I can get rid of the shadow.

May go F15, easy F12.
The color in the pic suggest the surface is not orginial.
May be the picture, either way not a huge deal, it's a good date
in nice shape. Many of the early IHC's have been cleaned sometime in there lives.

I am going to have to say VF35 maybe XF.

Part of the second diamond from the bottom is visible on the ribbon.

You can see arrow feather detail on rev.

I see what you are seeing Larry and I think that is why people were reluctant to jump in on this one.
The ribbon, lower hair curl and reverse are very strong with this coin.
It just seems that it is all about the liberty and borders above and below liberty when it comes to IHC's.

Thanks for having a looking and your input. What are the key areas to look for on these coins, I have 17 59's, 9 60's, 8 61's, 12 62's, 30 63's and 14 64's that I am going through.

I usually check the headband first. If you can see the word liberty, you are usually at least in the F-12 grade or higher.

The lower headband is distinct, and the hair/ribbon is almost separated, and a diamond is visible
Details are ~VF35, but there are a few digs on the face. I'd say VF25 net grade.

I'm with DV on this one. I would give it VF30 Details because of those small pits.
Also looks cleaned but may be the camera settings.
