May be the picture, either way not a huge deal, it's a good date in nice shape. Many of the early IHC's have been cleaned sometime in there lives. Report this Post to the Staff

upstate Pillar of the Community United States 3283 Posts	Posted 08/15/2011 3:41 pm I see what you are seeing Larry and I think that is why people were reluctant to jump in on this one. The ribbon, lower hair curl and reverse are very strong with this coin. It just seems that it is all about the liberty and borders above and below liberty when it comes to IHC's. nod2003 Pillar of the Community United States 3294 Posts	Posted 08/15/2011 4:12 pm I usually check the headband first. If you can see the word liberty, you are usually at least in the F-12 grade or higher. Report this Post to the Staff
DVCollector Bedrock of the Community United States 10045 Posts	Posted 08/15/2011 5:46 pm The lower headband is distinct, and the hair/ribbon is almost separated, and a diamond is visible Details are ~VF35, but there are a few digs on the face. I'd say VF25 net grade. Report this Post to the Staff
