Seems OK - maybe just that it's an older version?

The PCGS holder and coin are genuine ... what you are seeing is the poor photography of the seller ... his lighting is what makes the holder appear white.

This same coin sold at a Teletrde auction on 3/16/2008 for $90. You can check out the correct color-balanced photo at this link.

It looks fine to me. I think it's just the lighting the seller used to take the pic. Here is a link that shows sample slabs and the different types through the years http://www.sampleslabs.com/pcgs.html. Maybe you can find it on here?

I have not seen a fake that has those circles on all 4 corners of the slab. In the Obverse picture I only saw the ones on the bottom but on the reverse picture I can see one of them on the top and one on the bottom, telling me there are 4 of them there

The slab is from 1999 to 2002.

The fake slabs have those circles as well.

If it stays cheap enough, might just be worth a try. Odd the way the reverse has only partial toning. Might be the lousy lighting though. From what some dealers have been telling me, the faked PCGS slabs are mostly really new looking. They are trying to copy the latest ones to fake out more people.
