Whats even worse is someone has bid it to over $12 for a coin worth 25 cents.Now whos the dummy?

I think people are bidding on ad, not the coin. I wouldn't be surprised to see him get $25 for it.

At least this time the buyer knew exactly what he was getting. Although I question his vision since the coin is really as ugly as sin.

I recognize virtually every username associated with that auction, including both the buyer and seller. They're all friends, and had some fun with this one. The thread over at CU is at 4 pages and counting - the seller, buyer, and bidders are all in it.

Another one to watch is ebay username "earlyus." He's been particularly bored lately.

Consider the fun in participating in an auction like this one...whether you be the seller or the buyer. The amount of money that this coin is going to go for will be more than it is worth, but the fun to be had and the humor in the auction is worth more than that. I wouldn't criticize the people bidding on it. Sometimes, people just bid because they want to have a little fun.
