Started searching today. Did $2 hoping for red seal maybe and looked at the numbers. Nothing interesting, but I was wondering if having groups of consecutive made them worth more.

consecutives are worth a premium if the underlying bill is worthwhile. when issued, all bills are consecutive

That makes since, these are technically birthdays. All August 31 of different years. I am looking up to see if anything interesting happen on those days that might make them worth something.

Birthday notes cam be tough to sell especially if they are from a couple of centuries ago.

Hold them for 7 years: 8-31-18 for 12, 13, 14 year olds.
