Hi everyone,

I'm a pretty experienced coin collector, but I know next to nothing about paper money. I came across this note recently - can anyone tell me what this error is, how it happens, and how I can go about finding the value (without just selling it on ebay! :) )

If you look closely, you can see a "ghost image" of the serial number where the S/N ordinarily would be... I just don't know enough about the printing process to understand this.

If anyone has a rough idea of what the value of something like this is, that would be a huge help too! I have no idea whether we're talking $10, $100, or $1000, so it would be nice just to have a sense. The condition is F, if that helps. Thanks in advance for anything you can tell me!

I believe that this would be called a "shift error", a minor one, not much if value added in it's present condition. ...I have been wrong before.
