Can Anyone Identify This Coin Please! | Thailand Baht 1962

LucyMay New Member United Kingdom 5 Posts	Posted 08/16/2011 5:13 pm Hi I am trying to identify the pictured coin and would be grateful if anyone knew what coin it was or at least what country it is from to help narrow down my search. I can't understand any of the writing and there are no numbers on it. The writing is like a 'square shaped' type of writing. The photo I have taken is not brilliant as I am really struggling to get a good picture but I am hoping it is good enough for someone to help! Thank you. After looking at a few pictures it seems it is a 1962 1 baht as the writing front and back matches mine exactly. However as I am unable to read the coin do you know whether different years of the baht can look the same? It seems from what I have looked at so far that individual years are different and therefore I think mine must be the 1962. I'm not having any luck getting a picture of the other side, think I need to learn something on coin photography! Thanks again. Lucy May x Report this Post to the Staff

Ruler: Bhumipol Adulyadej (Rama IX) Obv: Young bust left Rev: Mantled arms Edge: Reeded Mintage:883,086,000 These coins were minted from 1962-1982 and mintage figure is a total.
