Fire away at my latest yard sale pickup. I have not paid for this yet and made a deal with the owner to first verify it before making an offer. Thanks much., Thanks

Oops, I forgot to mention that the weight of this coin is 12.81 grams and the diameter ranges from 33.5 - 33.6 mm.

I was looking in the RedBook and they say the specifications should be 13.48g and 32.5mm. The weight seems a little bit low but other than that the coin looks genuine. I would guess this has VG-8/10 details/scratches.

I would say VG-8, but it's got some scratches on the back I didn't account for.

looks real. How much did they want for it?

The owner has not yet stated an asking price. Considering the coin's condition and the current market for this type of coin what do you think you would pay for it if you were into buying/selling busties like these?

I like the VG-8, it's a beautiful coin. Will be interested in seeing what it goes for...

I would expect it to go for $50 or so considering the damage on the reverse.

Hey Moe, you might want to check these other two busts out for CBHs: https://goccf.com/t/96046For any other interested parties please put your comments regarding the newly listed 1833 and 1838 Bust halves in the thread ID 96046 and NOT in the original thread dedicated to the 1809 Bust half. I just wanted to put a reference to the newly listed 1833 and 1838 Bust halves in the 1809 Bust half thread since many helpful comments about Bust halves were stated there. Thanks, mdpmedia
