km#28.1 is described by Krause as 'Reeded with security'. The reeded edge has a groove running through the middle of the reeds with a series of dots and gaps.
km#28.2. My catalog (2009 edition) merely notes 'Reeded. NOTE: Error' it doesn't mention the 'w/o security' so I assume that's what they mean.
km#28.3. Strangely enough when examining my 10 cent coins I noticed that my 1971 Heaton has a plain edge where the catalog says 'Reeded' for the series.

Googled myself right back here :)
So, the KM 28.2 has no groove then, just reeds correct ?
Just double checking. Found a decent 63 EF in a roll of cents today.
No biggie if the one with security but still cool to find.
