Nope, it's New Orleans. Appropriate - those guys were basically 404 when it came to striking Morgans, anyways.

Yeah, they were basically clueless.  This is the same coin I used for my illustration of what an ebay seller could do to a coin:   Same coin. Typical ebay auction image size:  It only took me 10 minutes to do that. Just imagine what it could look like if I took my time to do it right.... |

With all due respect to the OP, this thread is such a wild fantasy that it seemed appropriate to take it into the weeds. He saw fit to initially post this on a weekend, indicating his availability during that time, yet hasn't bothered to visit again to back up his assertions. It's the first time I've ever heard of anything resembling his claim, and it would take some solid, certifiable evidence for it not to be the last. |
