Heh. Given the number of times I've been asked permission to use it, it must be the 404 page at a dozen coin-related websites.

Nope, it's New Orleans. Appropriate - those guys were basically 404 when it came to striking Morgans, anyways.

Lol doesn't matter if it isn't a CC. This coin is rare enough as it is!

Yep, if there's only one, condition doesn't even matter really.

Yeah, they were basically clueless.

1937-US-Dollar-Coin---Yes-They-Exist.

This is the same coin I used for my illustration of what an ebay seller could do to a coin:

1937-US-Dollar-Coin---Yes-They-Exist.

1937-US-Dollar-Coin---Yes-They-Exist.

Same coin. Typical ebay auction image size:

1937-US-Dollar-Coin---Yes-They-Exist.

It only took me 10 minutes to do that. Just imagine what it could look like if I took my time to do it right....

Wow Dave, you must know some of the sellers I used to buy from on ebay when I was starting out!

Well, DVCollector initially yanked it off course, and then the rest of us sort of ran with it.

With all due respect to the OP, this thread is such a wild fantasy that it seemed appropriate to take it into the weeds. He saw fit to initially post this on a weekend, indicating his availability during that time, yet hasn't bothered to visit again to back up his assertions. It's the first time I've ever heard of anything resembling his claim, and it would take some solid, certifiable evidence for it not to be the last.

The same as my Morgan with a sideways mint mark and a date that says "404."
