Hi Folks
Came across these 2 Peace dollars and not being good at grading would appreciate any opinions as to what the grades may be. The 1928d does have some gouges on the n and g and also on the are and t on the front of the coin. The reverse also has some small gouges. The 1934d appears to be in good shape. Both have luster. Any opinions would be appreciated.

I'd give them both an XF with the 28-S obviously having been cleaned. Nice coins though.

I would guess the 34-d is an EF-40 or 45. The 28-s is probably AU details/cleaned.

Thanks for the info. As far as being cleaned I take it the scratches and cloudiness are a indication that it has been cleaned. Plan on doing a set and want to know what to look for. I know hairline scratches is one indication that a coin has been cleaned. Thanks
