This is the key in the 33 coin Liberty nickel series. Picked up this PCGS example ... wondering how you grade compared to the 'experts' at PCGS. For the record ... this is a digital photograph taken under light balanced conditions which by and large shows the coin and luster as I see it in hand. All opinions welcomed and encouraged. Grade away. David

Im a beginner and have never tried to grade many coins but I will go out on a limb and say MS63. Please dont laugh at me to much. However I may not be good at grading but I do know that is a very nice coin.

Very nice! I see traces of very light wear, especially obverse. PCGS AU55

I like the coin no big hits, first impression is EF45/AU50, the back is lacking real detail. yet it could be due to a soft strike...one must know what years had this problem as most will under grade troubled years thinking they are held to normal standards, by which they are not...I don't the series and have a few nice V nickles of this series but don't avidly collect them...

I'm also a newbie when it comes to grading, so I only feel OK on a few series I focus on. But I'll proffer my opinion anyway. I see very light wear, but nice eye appeal. AU-55.

i like AU-55 for this coin, the only thing that brought me down to from a 58 was the discoloration, but its still a very beautiful coin!

I agree with the AU-53/55; however the B in Liberty looks a little odd to me. Retooled? But having seen some of your previous coins/threads, I doubt you would purchase anything damaged/retooled. Great coin, thanks for sharing.
