Anyone know the specifics of this coin? Looking on the web, seems there's info on everything but the 1979 date. The closest thing was 1961-? entry I got that said the coin is 90% silver, but it doesn't look like silver nor does it sound like silver. Anyone know the scoop?

It's clad. Panamanian coins were made at the Philadelphia Mint with the same planchets as US coins. If you had a 1964 or earlier, it would be 90%, and 1965-70 would be 40%.

I found a 1979 clad mixed in with Kennedy halves. Does the 1979 Balboa have any numismatic value?
